For as long as I can remember, I've always enjoyed music. Somewhere around four years ago, I couldn't get to sleep due to insomnia, and so I put on some classical music CDs we had lying around in the house. I did this because people say that light, mellow music can help us to relax more efficiently than listening to, say, Def Leppard or Van Halen. It proved to be mostly true and it helped me to fall asleep a little easier, although it was later determined that the cause of my insomnia was my mattress, which we later replaced and then I slept like a baby Rip Van Winkle.
Lately I've been listening to some of Gustav Holst's really excellent "Planets Suite". It's really very beautiful music. If you don't know any of it then I highly recommend you do a search on it and find some of the music from it. A lot of it is available on YouTube, so I'd check there first.
That's really all I wanted to say. Gustav Holst was a great composer. I wish I could hire him to compose a soundtrack for a movie I'm writing.

Hi!
Hello! Welcome to my new blog. I decided to start it because I wanted to. It will help me sort my thoughts out and will hopefully provide entertainment for whoever's reading it.
Today I went outside barefooted. Did you know that walking on acorns (and broken bits of acorns) can hurt your feet? I did, and I still walked outside barefoot anyway.
Exciting, eh?
